P-Lift Series Residential Wheelchair Lift For Homes
The P Lift Series is one of America’s most trusted residential wheelchair elevator lift. Designed for easy, everyday use at home, the vertical platform lifts up to 850 pounds and reaches heights of 50", 60", or 72". Whether you're overcoming porch steps or a raised deck, the P-Lift helps you regain access and independence with ease.
Home Elevators for Wheelchairs
The P Lift Series is designed for indoor or outdoor use, whether it’s for your front porch, garage, or backyard deck. It's made with durable, weather-resistant materials, including a tough diamond plate platform and powder-coated steel frame, to handle everything from Florida humidity to Alaskan snow.

Wheelchair Elevator Lift For Home with Straight-Through or 90-Degree Exit
The P LIFT 50, 60 and 72 wheelchair platform features a standard setup allowing straight-in and straight-out movement. Want more flexibility in tight spaces? The optional 90-degree platform lets users turn left or right to exit—ideal for porches or areas with limited room.
Note: The 90-degree platform option is only available for the standard 50" or 60" models, not the 72" lift.

Reversible Design Fits Your Space
You can place the PLIFT tower on either side and reposition the automatic ramp and safety barrier to suit your layout. This makes it one of the most customizable wheelchair platform lifts on the market.
Smooth Ride with Screw Drive System
Unlike chain-driven lifts, the P-Lift uses a screw drive system, making your ride up and down quiet, smooth, and reliable. It’s also much safer, with fewer moving parts and less chance of failure.
Wireless Operation
The P-Lift-50 now includes wireless operation as a standard feature, allowing users and caregivers to control the lift while moving around freely. This system uses a secure signal and can move the lift up and down, with an emergency stop for safety.
It works from up to 50 feet away, and its easy pressure buttons make it accessible for users with limited dexterity.

PLIFT Wheelchair Platform Lift – Battery Backup System
The PLIFT Wheelchair Platform Lift runs on a standard 120-volt AC power system for reliable, everyday use. For added peace of mind, you can choose the optional Battery Backup System, which automatically takes over during a power outage.
When the power goes out, the system switches to a 48-volt DC output, powered by four U1 batteries (not included). With a full charge, the PLIFT can operate for up to 50 complete lift cycles, that’s about ten days of use at five lifts per day.
The Battery Backup System includes:
-
A durable exterior battery box
-
A built-in inverter for automatic switching between AC and DC power
-
All necessary connection components (except the four 12V U1 batteries)
This upgrade ensures that your wheelchair platform lift remains safe and functional even during unexpected outages, giving you uninterrupted mobility access when you need it most.

Backed by Trusted Engineering
The engineers behind the P-Lift designed it with safety redundancies, similar to those used in aviation. Features like dual limit switches help prevent the lift from overextending. Even if one limit switch fails, the second one will stop the lift safely—giving you peace of mind.

The PLIFT Ships Fully Assembled with FREE Shipping
The P-Lift Series arrives partially assembled, with all major mechanical components pre-built. Installation is straightforward: position and level the base frame, mount the main tower, slide on the carriage, attach the toe plate and handrail, and complete the final adjustments.
When it comes to home elevators for wheelchairs, the P-Lift Series is more than just a wheelchair lift; it’s a simple, safe, and effective solution for making your home more accessible. Whether you need a wheelchair lift for a porch or a taller model for a multi-step entryway, the P-Lift is designed to meet your needs.

P-Lift 50", 60" & 72" – Wheelchair Elevator Lift FAQs
1) What is a wheelchair elevator lift and which P-Lift height do I need?
A wheelchair elevator lift (also called a wheelchair platform lift for home) is a vertical lift that raises a wheelchair user between two levels. Choose:
- P-Lift 50 for up to 50 inches of vertical travel.
- P-Lift 60 for up to 60 inches.
- P-Lift 72 for up to 72 inches.
Match the model to the height from the lower landing to the upper landing.
2) Will this wheelchair platform lift for home fit my space?
Yes, most porches and decks work with minimal prep. You’ll need a solid, level pad that’s about 12 inches larger than the lift footprint (common adjacent configurations are roughly 60 x 66 inches or 66 x 66 inches). Make sure the toe plate lands on a firm surface with 12–20 inches of clear space at the entrance side. If you have a porch threshold or lip, the toe plate acts as a small ramp and the platform height can be set to meet the landing cleanly.
3) What mounting surface do I need for a wheelchair elevator lift?
A solid, smooth, level base is required, typically concrete or solid wood decking. For travel over 52 inches, the lift should also be secured to the building for added stability.
4) Is the P-Lift suitable for indoor and outdoor use?
Yes. The P-Lift is designed for both indoor and outdoor installations and is commonly used at porch and deck entrances, garages, and split-level interiors.
5) How is it powered, and what happens if there’s a power cut?
The P-Lift runs on a standard 120-volt AC household circuit (15A). During an outage you have two options:
- Manual Crank – included for safe raising and lowering without power.
- Optional Battery Backup System – an external box that automatically switches to 48-volt DC, powered by four 12V U1 batteries (not included). On a full charge it can provide up to 50 complete lift cycles (about ten days at five cycles per day). The kit includes a durable exterior battery box, a built-in inverter for automatic AC/DC switching, and all connection components except the batteries.
6) How safe is this wheelchair elevator lift?
The P-Lift includes a toe plate (safety ramp and edge guard), handrails, a non-slip platform, and multiple limit switches to stop over-travel. An emergency stop is also easy to reach. For taller lifts, landing gates and interlocks can be added for controlled access.
7) Can I operate the lift independently?
Yes. The P-Lift uses simple, reachable call and send controls so a wheelchair user can ride independently. Optional upper and lower call stations let you call the lift from either level.
8) How much weight can it carry?
The series is designed for high capacity use, safely handling a user plus a power wheelchair or scooter. Typical configurations support up to 750–880 pounds. If you’re close to the limit, let us know your chair and user weights and we’ll confirm the best setup.
9) How much does the wheelchair elevator lift weigh?
The P-Lift ships at about 705 pounds including the crate. Once unboxed and installed, the lift itself weighs less, but you should plan for the full shipping weight when arranging delivery and setup.
10) How long does it take to ship?
Orders ship within 1–3 business days via FedEx Freight. Transit times vary, but most deliveries arrive within 3–7 business days depending on your location.
