Warranty Information

Journey Health & Lifestyle® warrants all our products to be free from defects in materials, workmanship, and assembly. A standard twelve (12) month warranty from the original purchase date applies to the core list of Journey products under normal use under specifications and warnings and with some limitations, exclusions, restraints or extensions including but not limited to parts, labor, service, and other specific considerations. (Specific additional limitations and extensions of warranty, particularly as they relate to the Journey Health & Lifestyle® line of mobility products, can be found in the Addendum below.) If within the twelve-month warranty period, any component or part shall be proven to the satisfaction of Journey Health & Lifestyle® to be defective, the product shall, at the option of Journey Health & Lifestyle®, be repaired or replaced. Contact Journey Health & Lifestyle® before sending any product for warranty repair or replacement. Do not send any product without our prior written consent.


Limitations and Exclusions


This warranty does not cover damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from accident, negligence, misuse, abuse, normal wear and tear, damage in shipment, improper operation or failure to follow instructions according to the User Manual, component failure, improper storage, neglect of prescribed maintenance procedures, repair or attempted repair or modifications made or authorized by anyone other than Journey Health & Lifestyle®, normal gradual reduction in battery performance due to heavy use, deterioration due to external factors such as extremes in temperature or humidity, corrosive atmosphere or other natural events such as lightning, flood or circumstances beyond the control of Journey Health & Lifestyle®.


This warranty applies in North America only, is extended only to the original purchaser of the product when purchased directly from Journey Health & Lifestyle® (USA), and is non-transferable. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other legal rights that vary from place to place.


The preceding warranty is exclusive and in place of all other express warranties or implied warranties, if any, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and shall not extend beyond the duration of the express warranty provided herein. Journey Health & Lifestyle® shall not be liable for any consequential or incidental damages whatsoever and disclaims any liability beyond the initial purchase price of the product.


Addendum


In addition to the previously cited provisions and limitations, other warranty considerations for the line of Journey Health & Lifestyle® mobility products (Zinger, Zoomer, Zoomer Lite, Perfect Walker, So Lite Wheelchair, So Lite Scooter, So Lite Glide, all UPWalkers) include the following extensions and exclusions:


In addition to the previously cited provisions of the standard one-year warranty above, the frame, mechanical, and electrical components including the motor of each mobility product in the Journey Health & Lifestyle® mobility line is further specifically warrantied for the same twelve-month period. In addition, warrantied instead for a six- (6) month period are the originally supplied battery, tires, fabric seat, seat back, and seat cushion, all guaranteed to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for six (6) months from the original purchase date.


If, within such warranty period, any component or part shall be proven to the satisfaction of Journey Health & Lifestyle® to be defective, the product shall at the option of Journey Health & Lifestyle® be repaired or replaced with new or refurbished product components. In some cases, an installation kit with instructions may be provided to the owner to facilitate the installation of a replacement product component. Warranty relating to mobility products excludes labor charges incurred in product component installation. The warranty period of the repaired or replaced product shall terminate with the termination of the warranty period for the original product. The sole obligation of Journey Health & Lifestyle®, and the customer’s exclusive remedy under this warranty, shall be limited to such repaired or replaced product.


In addition to the previously cited provisions and limitations of the standard one-year warranty above, additional warranty considerations for the UPbed Standard include one-year service with full coverage on parts, including labor, and two-to-three-year full coverage on parts (no labor), and four-to-ten-year coverage on bed frame and non-electric mechanisms. Coverage for the UPbed Independence includes two years on components and 10 years on the bed frame.


In addition to the previously cited provisions and limitations of the standard one-year warranty above, additional warranty considerations for the Journey Health & Lifestyle® lift chair line include a lifetime warranty on the lift mechanism and frame and a three-year warranty on the electronic components.

Return and Refund Policy

Cancellations & Refunds: At First Class Mobility we pride ourselves on having the best return policies in the industry. Cancel your order any time before it ships completely free of charge (exceptions apply such as custom orders, see below).

Cancellations (Before Order Ships)

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible so we can refund you in full before your order leaves the warehouse. Reach agents during business hours at  307-243-4414, or the chat in the bottom right, or email support@firstclassmobility.com at any time. 

Cancellations of Custom Orders

Custom or made-to-order products cannot be canceled or refunded as these products are put into production specifically for your order. Custom order brands include:

Dundalk Lesiurecraft. No returns accepted/.The Order Cancellation and Change Policy includes: Cancellations without penalty up to 14 days from order entry; a $75 fee applies thereafter and orders can't be cancelled within 7 days of the ship date.

Post-shipping address changes incur a $250 fee. For Canadian Timber Collection, dealers have 24 hours for a $75 change fee.

These units are custom-made to your specification or created once you order. Once you place your order they start building your unit. Your warranty will guarantee you a fully functional and operational product. If it is not clear whether your order is custom or made to order, please message or call us. 

All sales are final for Custom made and Made-to-order products.

Refunds and Returns.

All our products are sourced directly from our manufacturers and partner brands. If you need to exchange a product, you must first receive a return authorization form. Each manufacturer sets their own timeframes for possible returns. You, as the customer, are responsible for any shipping costs incurred during returns and exchanges.

Due to significantly increasing LTL/freight shipping costs, any outright returns will incur a 25% restocking fee plus the cost of in/out shipping, and a 2.9% transaction fee. If you are replacing the product with another item, we may be able to help cover some of the associated costs, depending on the product.

Please note, certain products listed below are non-returnable and non-refundable. Under specific circumstances, we can consult with the manufacturers to see if a return is feasible. If the manufacturer agrees to a return, a restocking fee, both-way shipping costs, and a 2.9% transaction fee will apply regardless. This comprehensive policy ensures that we can continue providing high-quality service while managing the increased logistics costs effectively.

First Class Mobility offers a 30-day return policy for unused items in their original packaging. As authorized partners with various brands, please note that some brands have their own return policies.

EWheels allows returns within 14 days, provided the item is unopened, unused, and in its original packaging.

Shipping Times

We promise to do our best to get your order to you as soon as possible.  We provide estimated shipping times on the product pages. All orders are dispatched within 1-3 business days and delivered within 4-8 business days.  

Order delays have proven to be unavoidable and outside of the control of First Class Mobility.. While this might be frustrating, we ask you to please be patient and understanding with us in these tough times. We thank you for your business and appreciate your patience.

Please Read the Following

When you are making a purchase from firstclassmobility.com, you are acknowledging the following of the Exchange Agreement:

  • I understand I am to inspect the package upon delivery, and notate and take pictures if there is any damage and provide it to First Class Mobility within 24 hours of the product being delivered.
  • I understand that I am responsible for the cost of shipping both ways in the event of a return or exchange, including the cost of return shipping and the shipping cost for the new product in case of a refund or exchange.
  • I understand that products need to be returned unopened and unused.  An additional restocking fee may occur.
  • I understand that if my order has left the warehouse, I am unable to receive a full refund. 
  • I understand that if I return my order once it has shipped, I will be responsible for paying any return shipping fees and restocking fees, which vary by product, but are usually around 25%.+ 3% transaction fee. 

Damages

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage, you should make note of it when signing for delivery.  If your item(s) arrive damaged please send photos of the damage, box, and SKU, along with a brief description of the damage to [email] and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf. Photos and videos must be sent for freight damage within 24 hours of arrival or the freight damage claim will not be valid. Any punctures or visible signs of exterior damage must be reported within 24 hours. 


Warranty

Warranties vary depending upon the manufacturer - see individual product pages for details. Warranty damages occur over time and from use. If an item was damaged upon arrival, and not reported within 30 days, that is not a warranty claim.

Returns

The First Class Mobility default is that customers will be responsible for all return shipping charges or re-consignment fees caused by customer error, unless otherwise stated on the product page. 

All of our products have guaranteed warranty policies - meaning that you will 100% get a fully functional, operating product that you paid for without any extra expenses incurred on your end - please see individual product pages for details. 

Missed Delivery and Return Policy

In the event that a scheduled delivery appointment is missed due to the freight company's inability to make the delivery, and the goods are returned to the sender, the customer will be responsible for the following:

  • A 25% restocking fee of the product's total purchase price.
  • Outbound and return shipping costs associated with the delivery attempt.

We advise all customers to ensure availability during the scheduled delivery window to avoid these additional charges. If there are any issues with the appointment, please contact the freight company or our customer service team to reschedule as soon as possible

BOGO Promotions

In the event of a BOGO promotion, both items must be returned for a full refund. If one of the two items is returned, you will get a replacement of that item or store credit for the value of that item when purchased on its own. If your order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges and depending on the manufacturer, potentially a restocking fee. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you used when placing your order.

Chargebacks

Our team of agents is here to assist you and resolve any issues. We have purposefully made our policies as fair as possible, and we believe they are the top in the industry.  We are on your team. We are immediately responsive and will do all that we can to help you out and provide the best resolution.

Given this, any customer that files a fraudulent chargeback will be held criminally liable for theft. If you have not received a product, or have an issue with a product that you did receive, please contact us, and we will help you resolve your issue. Very impressed!

We are so very excited to get our Journey Air in! It fits wonderfully in the trunk of our Toyota YARIS! And is so portable! It went up the ramp GREAT! And has a great brake Mechanism too! We ordered this to get my grandma in and out of the casino! It will be great for that with how well it’s handling the ramp at home! We also love how the battery comes off easily for charging, without having to bring the whole chair in! Very pleased with our purchase!

Tried Out Three Mobility Devices. This one is a Keeper !

My wife is 5' 2," 100 lbs. The Journey Air Silver is the perfect size for her. For the fun of it, I, at 6' 2" 210 lb. tried it out and it works well for me too! We love that its truly lightweight. We can quickly fold it up and take it anywhere we choose, and we really like the small turning radius, the washable seat and back cushions, the variable speed, and the long runtime on a full charge. Medicare is providing my wife a much heavier, much more expensive chair, but it's not transportable without building a ramp for our stairs and purchasing a trailer hitch mounted carrier...what PITA. Three cheers for the Journey!!

Lightweight and easy to store - loving it

Got the Journey Air, and it was easy to get it going straight from the box. It's lightweight, easy to steer with the joystick, and folding it for storage is straightforward. The battery charges fast and lasts well. It offers great value, especially with its versatility for indoor and outdoor use. Really recommend it for the convenience and mobility it provides.
