Smoother Transfers and More Comfortable Positioning

The 360° swivel seat and EZ-Tilt handle are designed to support smoother, more controlled transitions when sitting down, standing up, and getting into riding position. The Amigo RD 3-wheel mobility scooter comes standard with a Premier I seat and also offers Premier II, Tempress Highback, and Vinyl seating options. These choices give riders different seat sizes, shapes, and back styles to choose from when selecting a preferred setup.

Choose Your Amigo: Standard, Deluxe, or Shabbat

Amigo scooter lineup includes different model configurations with different control panels and feature sets.

Standard model includes a Hi/Lo handle with speed adjustment, battery status, key switch, and horn controls.

Deluxe model includes TouchTron control panel with seat lift, lighting, turn signal, and brake release controls, along with a rear taillight.

Shabbat model allows members of the Jewish community to use their Amigo during the Sabbath. It includes a Shabbat toggle switch that changes operation from normal mode to Shabbat mode.

 

Optional Power Seat Lift for Better Everyday Reach

Available on Deluxe model, the optional power seat lift raises the seat up to 4.75 inches with the push of a button.

That extra height can make a real difference when sitting at a table, pulling up to a desk, or reaching a kitchen counter. By bringing you closer to surface, it helps reduce the need to stretch forward or adjust awkwardly.

Never Worry About Packing or Misplacing Scooter Charger Again

The 24V onboard charger is built into the scooter, so there is no separate charger to store or carry. To charge, pull out the 9-foot retractable cord, plug it into a standard wall outlet, and charge as needed. When charging is complete, unplug the cord and give it a gentle tug so it retracts back into place. This built-in setup keeps the charger with scooter and cord stored when not in use.

AMI repairs or replaces any part defective in materials or workmanship. Labor costs are covered for the first 60 days.

 

General Warranty Provisions

Amigo Mobility International, Inc. (AMI) warranties the original, completed Amigo it manufactures only to the original owner. If a warranty card or proof of purchase is not received, the warranty begins on the date the Amigo was shipped.

Warranty Exclusions: The warranties do not cover failure of any part or accessory due to:

Shipping damage
Abuse, misuse, accidental damage, or acts of nature
Exceeding the specified weight capacity of the model
Improper installation or opening sealed components
Modifying the Amigo or installing accessories not authorized by AMI
Warranty Coverage:

General Repair/Replacement: AMI will repair or replace parts that are defective in material or workmanship under normal use. For some warranty repairs, AMI may use factory-remanufactured parts instead of new parts. Warranty replacement parts are covered for the remainder of the Amigo unit's warranty. Labor costs are covered for the first 60 days of ownership.

Structural Components: Platform, frame, and seat post have a limited lifetime warranty (seven years).

Main Components: Controller, charger, motor, and transaxle have a two-year warranty.

Seats and Other Components: Covered for one year (cuts and tears in seats are not covered).

Batteries: Batteries supplied by AMI have a one-year warranty (freight not included after six months). Batteries carry Amigo brand labels.

Exclusions: Damage caused by moisture, spillage, or leakage is not covered.

Lithium-Ion Batteries:

Warranty period is 60 months, starting from when the Amigo healthcare model or batteries are shipped from the AMI factory. The serial number of the unit or date code on the battery is required.
Warranty covers defects in workmanship and material.
Warranty applies if a fully recharged battery has less than 50% of its rated capacity under normal operating/charging conditions within the 60-month period.
Lithium-ion batteries must be returned to AMI for testing to confirm warranty conditions are met.
Repair/Replacement Process: AMI will repair or replace products/parts found to be defective under warranty at their factory in Bridgeport, Michigan.

If inspection shows the returned part or unit is fully functional or inoperable for a non-warranty reason, it will be returned at the owner's expense.
Parts Purchased Separately/Rebuilt Units: These carry a one-year warranty against defects in material and workmanship.

Order Processing

Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your order.

Orders are fulfilled directly through our authorized manufacturer partners to ensure you receive the newest production inventory.

If an item is temporarily unavailable, we will contact you promptly with updated availability and options. At that time, you may choose to proceed with the revised timeline or cancel for a full refund.

If you confirm that you wish to proceed, the order becomes a confirmed backorder. Once we commit funds with the supplier to reserve inventory specifically for your order, it cannot be cancelled.

You will receive email updates throughout the process, including tracking details once your order ships.

Cancellations within 24 hours may be approved at our discretion if the order has not yet been placed with the supplier or shipped.

Returns

Eligible products may be returned within 7 days of delivery with prior return authorization.

Approved returns may be subject to:

  • A 25% restocking fee
  • Non-refundable outbound shipping charges
  • Non-refundable white-glove delivery charges (if applicable)
  • Return shipping costs paid by the customer

Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, and include all parts, accessories, manuals, and documentation.

Return requests submitted after 7 days of delivery may not be eligible for approval at our discretion.

Pre-Orders & Backorders

Some products may require advance reservation to secure manufacturer inventory.

Pre-orders and confirmed backorders are paid in full at the time of purchase. Once inventory is reserved and funds are committed with the supplier, these orders cannot be cancelled.

Estimated shipping timelines are provided in good faith. Delays may occur due to manufacturing schedules, supplier availability, or freight logistics.

Any exception granted is at our sole discretion and may be subject to a cancellation and restocking fee.

Final Sale Items

Due to hygiene, safety, or manufacturer restrictions, the following items are non-returnable:

  • Beds and mattresses

  • All lifts (residential, vehicle, and patient lifts)

Non-Returnable Accessories

Accessories are final sale and are not eligible for return or refund unless they arrive damaged, defective, or were shipped in error.

For purposes of this policy, an accessory is any optional add-on, enhancement, replacement component, comfort item, positioning aid, storage item, battery, charger, or similar product designed for use with a primary piece of durable medical equipment.

Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • Spare batteries
  • Chargers
  • Cup holders
  • Storage bags
  • Seat cushions
  • Positioning supports
  • Travel covers
  • Replacement parts
  • Other optional add-ons and upgrades

Defective, Damaged & Warranty Claims

Customers must inspect all products upon delivery. Any damage, defects, missing parts, or operational issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

For approved warranty claims, manufacturers may provide troubleshooting, replacement parts, repair service, batteries, or replacement units under the applicable manufacturer warranty.

Replacement units are not guaranteed to ship immediately and may require troubleshooting, manufacturer approval, return inspection, and/or parts availability before processing.

Products designated as Final Sale or Non-Returnable are covered by the applicable manufacturer warranty process for defects or operational issues. Refunds are generally not available while the manufacturer is actively providing troubleshooting, repair, replacement parts, battery replacement, or replacement solutions under the warranty process.

Where warranty support or a replacement solution has already been provided or offered, the order may not qualify for a return or refund.

Damage or defects reported after 24 hours of delivery may not qualify for replacement, refund, or claim approval.

Missed Deliveries, Refused Shipments & Incorrect Addresses

Freight and large-item deliveries are scheduled to the address provided at checkout. Please ensure all delivery details are accurate before submitting your order.

If an order is refused at delivery or returned to the sender, a 25% restocking fee will apply, and all outbound and return shipping costs will be the customer’s responsibility.

If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided and the shipment requires re-delivery, address correction, or is returned to the sender, the customer is responsible for any additional shipping, freight, storage, or re-delivery fees charged by the carrier.

Warranty

All products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, which varies by brand and product.

We are happy to assist you with documentation, proof of purchase, and guidance throughout the warranty process. Warranty service, repairs, and replacements are handled directly by the manufacturer in accordance with their terms and coverage.

After the return period has passed, any repair or replacement requests will be subject to the manufacturer’s warranty policy and may require return of the defective item for inspection.

Payment Disputes

If you experience any issue with your order, please contact us directly so we can resolve it as quickly as possible.

In the event of a payment dispute, we may provide order records, communication history, and this policy to the payment provider for review.
