How can I travel with my wheelchair, scooter? Is it airline compliant?
All Wheelchairs and Scooters using regular sized batteries are airline and cruise compliant. Some of the extended batteries are not compliant to TSA regulations, therefore not suitable for airline travel.
Can I use your mobility devices in the rain water?
Bangeran products are weatherproof but not waterproof. Please keep out of heavy rain or prolonged exposure to water.
Do we have wheelchairs for left handed people? Can we interchange the joystick?
Yes! Some bangeran power wheelchairs can be configured for left-handed users. The Bangeran Mammoth series are the example. Most models allow the joystick controller to be installed on either the right or left armrest.
Where do we charge the wheelchairs from?
Some wheelchairs can be charged directly from the battery and some can be charged from the joystick or both. Please consult your user manual for more details.
Can I travel with my mobility scooter on public transportation?
Yes! Most buses, trains, and planes allow mobility scooters. Foldable or travel-friendly scooters are easiest to bring along. Always check the transit provider’s rules, secure your scooter in designated areas.
Are there weight restrictions for electric mobility wheelchairs?
Yes, weight restrictions for wheelchairs differ depending on the model. Please check the product page to learn more about each wheelchairs capabilities.
Can I add accessories to my mobility device for extra comfort?
We do not recommend unauthorized or third party products to be used with our own products due to the uncertainty of quality and other risks. Please note that any extra product added on the wheelchair or scooter will increase the total weight on the device.
How well do mobility devices handle snowy conditions?
Depending on the amount of snow and wetness of the surface it may differ. We don't recommend you to use the scooter on snow since these surfaces may melt or collapse.
Can I use my electric mobility wheelchair on beaches?
Depends on the surface. We always recommend you to use the wheelchair on even surfaces. We do not recommend use on dry or wet sand because of the risk of getting stuck in sand.
