FR168-4S II Bariatric Mobility Scooter – Built for Higher Weight Capacity and Daily Travel

The FreeRider FR168-4S II Bariatric Mobility Scooter is a full-size 4-wheel mobility scooter with a reinforced frame and wide seating area. It is designed for users who need a scooter that supports higher weight limits and provides more leg and foot room.

It supports up to 460 lbs and includes a 20-inch seat with expanded leg and foot space. These features give the user a scooter that can be used for routine transportation on paved surfaces as part of daily travel.

Adjustable Seating Setup

The seat has three height settings, and the armrests can be adjusted in width. These adjustments allow the rider to change the seating position as needed.

Steering Console With Delta Tiller Design

The FR168-4S II uses a delta tiller, which is a wrap-around handlebar that can be held from multiple points. This design lets the rider grip the tiller from the center or sides, rather than relying on a single straight bar, and this scooter has a 53-inch turning radius for navigating wider turning spaces.

The steering console includes forward and reverse levers, a speed dial, lighting controls, and turn indicators, all positioned on the front panel for direct access.

Battery Options for Different Travel Needs

The FR168-4S II supports multiple battery capacities. With the 36Ah battery, this 4-wheel scooter can travel up to 15 miles under ideal conditions. With the 50Ah battery, it can travel up to 20 miles. The scooter uses a 24V 5A off-board charger and includes a regenerative braking system.

WARRANTY TERMS:

Keep your serial number handy; it’s located on the front frame under the chassis cover. The scooter's frame is covered for 36 months from the purchase date against defects in materials or workmanship, while electronic components are covered for 12 months. This warranty is in addition to your legal rights. Parts replaced or repaired under this warranty will be covered for the remaining warranty period. It applies ONLY to parts supplied or approved by your Authorized Luggie Dealer, and it is not transferable due to the individualized nature of this product. BATTERY WARRANTY:

The battery that comes with your Luggie has a limited 12-month warranty against material defects and workmanship. Any faults due to manufacturing issues usually appear within a few weeks. Battery performance depends on how often you use the scooter and charge the battery. Some decline in performance and range is normal due to wear and tear, misuse, or accidental damage, in which case the warranty will not apply. Users with busy lifestyles, higher weight, or specific conditions may wear out their battery during the warranty period due to heavy use. The battery has a set number of discharge cycles, meaning more use can shorten its lifespan.

Order Processing

Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your order.

Orders are fulfilled directly through our authorized manufacturer partners to ensure you receive the newest production inventory.

If an item is temporarily unavailable, we will contact you promptly with updated availability and options. At that time, you may choose to proceed with the revised timeline or cancel for a full refund.

If you confirm that you wish to proceed, the order becomes a confirmed backorder. Once we commit funds with the supplier to reserve inventory specifically for your order, it cannot be cancelled.

You will receive email updates throughout the process, including tracking details once your order ships.

Cancellations within 24 hours may be approved at our discretion if the order has not yet been placed with the supplier or shipped.

Returns

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for eligible products.

Approved returns are subject to:

• A 25% restocking fee

• Non-refundable outbound shipping

• Non-refundable white-glove delivery charges (if applicable)

After 14 days, all sales are considered final.

Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, and include all components and documentation. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

Pre-Orders & Backorders

Some products may require advance reservation to secure manufacturer inventory.

Pre-orders and confirmed backorders are paid in full at the time of purchase. Once inventory is reserved and funds are committed with the supplier, these orders cannot be cancelled.

Estimated shipping timelines are provided in good faith. Delays may occur due to manufacturing schedules, supplier availability, or freight logistics.

Any exception granted is at our sole discretion and may be subject to a cancellation and restocking fee.

Final Sale Items

Due to hygiene, safety, or manufacturer restrictions, the following items are non-returnable:

Defective or Damaged Items

If an item arrives defective or damaged, the manufacturer will offer a replacement at no cost. Issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

A replacement requires the defective item to be returned before a new unit is shipped. A prepaid return label will be provided for approved claims.

If you decline a replacement and request a return instead, the request will be handled under the standard return policy, including a 25% restocking fee and non-refundable shipping costs.

Damage not reported within 24 hours may not be eligible for a claim.

Missed Deliveries, Refused Shipments & Incorrect Addresses

Freight and large-item deliveries are scheduled to the address provided at checkout. Please ensure all delivery details are accurate before submitting your order.

If an order is refused at delivery or returned to the sender, a 25% restocking fee will apply, and all outbound and return shipping costs will be the customer’s responsibility.

If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided and the shipment requires re-delivery, address correction, or is returned to the sender, the customer is responsible for any additional shipping, freight, storage, or re-delivery fees charged by the carrier.

Warranty

All products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, which varies by brand and product.

We are happy to assist you with documentation, proof of purchase, and guidance throughout the warranty process. Warranty service, repairs, and replacements are handled directly by the manufacturer in accordance with their terms and coverage.

After the return period has passed, any repair or replacement requests will be subject to the manufacturer’s warranty policy and may require return of the defective item for inspection.

Payment Disputes

If you experience any issue with your order, please contact us directly so we can resolve it as quickly as possible.

In the event of a payment dispute, we may provide order records, communication history, and this policy to the payment provider for review.
