Journey Health & Lifestyle provides a warranty covering the frame, mechanical components, and electrical components, including the motor, against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the original purchase date.
The original battery, tires, fabric seat, seat back, and seat cushion are covered under warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of six (6) months from the original purchase date.

The Journey Air Elite is a one-handed, joystick-controlled chair. The joystick can even be installed on either side of the chair.
Is the Journey Air Elite Chair right for me if I am handicapped or disabled?
While many people use the Journey Air Elite Chair for many different reasons, the Journey Air Elite Chair is a personal electric vehicle. If you are fully restricted to a sitting position, the Journey Air Elite Chair may not be for you. You must be able to get in and out of the chair.

The Journey Air Elite Chair will require only a few simple steps out of the box before you can use it. Included is the battery, charger, footrests, anti-tippers, and joystick.

Can I take my Journey Air Elite Chair on an airplane?
Yes, and here are a few things you need to know before taking your Journey Air Elite Chair on a plane. Your Journey Air Elite Chair should qualify as free baggage with most airlines, but you can call your airline prior to your trip to make sure. You can ride your Journey Air Elite Chair all the way up to the gate and down the jetway. As you get to the end of the jetway, you will need to remove the Journey Air Elite Chair battery from the back of the chair, fold your Journey Air Elite Chair and hand it to a flight attendant to stow it under the plane. Take the battery on the plane with you to your seat. Be sure to contact your specific airline to ask for their procedures for transporting a battery-powered vehicle, and see your Journey Air Elite USA User Manual for more info.
Does the Journey Air Elite Chair have reverse mode?
Yes, the Journey Air Elite Chair does have a powered reverse.
Is the seat or backrest adjustable?
The seat and backrest are not adjustable. Some Journey Air Elite Chair owners with special comfort needs have chosen to add an additional cushion.
How long will the battery last on a single charge?
Depending upon usage (speed, weight, etc.) the Journey Air Elite Chair's battery will last up to ten miles of use.
How long will the battery last before needing to replace it?
The short answer is it depends on the usage and conditions. The battery on average lasts for several years for many of our customers.
How long does it take to charge the battery?
Charging the battery takes 6-8 hours or less depending on the level of power already used. With a range of up to ten miles, most owners rarely run the battery all the way down in a single day.
How do I know if I need to charge the battery?
There is a battery indicator located on the control panel that tells you the battery life.
Is the battery included in the weight?
Yes, 29 pounds includes the weight of the battery.
For a recent 84 y.o.high hip amputee this little jewell has significantly improved my previously very restricted mobility choices. At its 27lbs weight I can easily lift it into my Toyota Sienna and park it behind the driver seat. It folds and unfolds easily and allows me access to any hard surface venue. It handles uphill drives to my mail box easily and it handles tight spaces with aplomb. Its design is elegant yet sturdy. Expensive but worth it!

I Have My Independence Back
As my MS progressed I lost my ability to walk. Using a manual rollator was too exhausting and I could not move across a room without becoming exhausted and falling. Since we started using a Journey Air Elite I have my independence back. I am able to conserve my energy and transfer to the Elite then go wherever I want to.
