Ideal for homecare, this lifter reduces caregiver involvement while providing a comfortable and secure experience. It works seamlessly with Handicare’s Prism Medical ceiling lifts for easy integration.

Warranty Information


Handicare guarantees all equipment, which includes Ceiling Lifts, Floor Lifts, Bathroom Safety, Slings, Service Parts and Track and accessories, supplied as new, against failure within the period of 1 year from date of installation or 18 months from date of manufacturing, whichever is shorter, by virtue of defects in material or workmanship.

Handicare guarantees all refurbished equipment supplied against failure within a period of three months from date of installation or six months from date of purchase whichever is shorter.

This guarantee does not apply to failure attributable to normal wear and tear, damage by natural forces, user neglect or misuse or to deliberate destruction, or to batteries more than 90 days after original purchase.

This guarantee shall be void if the equipment is not serviced by Handicare or its authorized service agents in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations or if any unauthorized person carries out works on the equipment.

The liability of Handicare under the terms of this guarantee shall be limited to the replacement of defective parts and in no event shall Handicare incur liability for any consequential or unforeseeable losses.


Warranty Claim Process
If there are warranty issues within 1 year from the date of installation or 18 months from date of manufacturing whichever is shorter, please contact Customer Service at 866-891-6502 to determine if a return or warrantied part is required. Handicare reserves the right to request proof of installation or sale. A return material authorization (RMA) for return of the product must be issued before Handicare can evaluate a warranty item.
Handicare offers extended warranties at the time of original purchase. Please contact Customer Service or your Account Manager for more information.
Upon receipt of the product, Handicare will either replace or repair under warranty as long as it is determined that the failure is not attributed to normal wear and tear, damage by natural forces, user neglect, misuse, damage in-transit or deliberate destruction. If Handicare deems the repair is not covered by warranty, Handicare will provide a repair quote based on regular dealer pricing.

All returns must be shipped to the address specified by the Handicare representative issuing the RMA. Your RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the package.

Handicare will invoice Dealers/Customers the full amount for the warrantied replacement part. The defective part or unit must be returned within 15 days. Handicare Technical Services will evaluate the warranty return within 15 days and notify the dealer if full credit will be given against the invoice.

Freight cost for the return of goods to Handicare under warranty will be paid for by the Dealer/Customer. Handicare will pay standard ground freight costs to ship warrantied items back to the Dealer/Customer.

Order Processing 

Once your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation email confirming that we have received and begun processing your order.

Stock availability is confirmed after purchase:

  • In stock: Your order will be prepared and shipped.

  • Out of stock/backorder: We will contact you with available options, which may include an estimated restock date, an alternative product, or a refund if you choose not to proceed.

You will receive email updates throughout the process, including tracking details once your order ships.

Cancellations within 24 hours may be approved at our discretion only if the order has not been placed/paid with the supplier or shipped.

Returns

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for most products. All approved refunds are subject to a 25% restocking fee, and all shipping and any white-glove delivery costs are non-refundable.

After 7 days, and up to 14 days from delivery, eligible orders may be exchanged only, subject to the same condition requirements.

Certain products, including pre-orders, backorders, custom items, and select brands, are final sale and not eligible for return, refund, or exchange. After 14 days from delivery, all sales are final.

Condition of Returns

Returned items must be unused, in their original packaging, and include all accessories, components, and documentation. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility and are non-refundable.

Pre-Orders & Backorders

Pre-orders and backorders are paid in full at the time of purchase to secure inventory that is specifically allocated to your order.

Once placed, we immediately commit funds with our suppliers and reserve inventory. For this reason, pre-orders and backorders cannot be cancelled and are non-refundable once confirmed.

Estimated shipping timelines are provided in good faith. Delays may occur due to factors outside our control, including manufacturing schedules, supplier availability, or freight and logistics issues.

If an exception is approved at our sole discretion, a cancellation and restocking fee will apply and will be deducted from any approved refund.

Final Sale Items

Defective or Damaged Items

If an item arrives defective or damaged, the manufacturer will offer a replacement at no cost. Issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

A replacement requires the defective item to be returned before a new unit is shipped. A prepaid return label will be provided for approved claims.

If you decline a replacement and request a return instead, the request will be handled under the standard return policy, including a 25% restocking fee and non-refundable shipping costs.

Damage not reported within 24 hours may not be eligible for a claim.

Missed Deliveries & Refused Shipments

Large or freight items are delivered to the address provided at checkout and are typically not returned to sender. Tracking details will be provided.

If an order is refused at delivery or returned to the sender, a 25% restocking fee will apply, and you are responsible for all outbound and return shipping costs.

Warranty

All products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, which varies by brand.
We can provide proof of purchase and assist with documentation; however, warranty claims are handled directly by the manufacturer.

After the return period, repair or replacement decisions are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty terms and may require return of the defective item.
