Safer Transfers and Less Strain During Daily Care
Daily care gets harder when the bed cannot adjust to the person using it. The resident may need help sitting up, resting with better positioning, or getting a lower bed height when unattended. At the same time, caregivers need the bed to be raised high enough so they are not constantly bending over during care.
The CostCare BC320 solves that middle problem. It lowers to 7" for a lower resting position, then raises up to 30" when caregivers need better access for routine care.
It also gives the room more flexibility than a basic home care hospital bed. The backrest and knee section adjust electrically, the sleep surface extends to 80", 84", or 88", and rail or assist bar options can be selected based on the care setup.
Features and Benefits
- Low 7" bed height: Helps keep the resident closer to the floor when a lower resting position is needed.
- High 30" caregiver working height: Raises the bed so caregivers can assist with daily care from a more practical position.
- Full electric adjustment: Bed height, backrest, and knee positioning adjust from the hand pendant instead of requiring manual repositioning.
- Backrest adjustment from 0° to 65°: Helps the resident sit up for meals, conversation, reading, or care routines.
- Knee break adjustment from 0° to 35°: Supports leg positioning and helps create a more comfortable resting setup.
- Extendable sleep surface: Adjusts to 80", 84", or 88", giving more flexibility for different mattress lengths and resident needs.
- Flexible rail and assist bar options: Let the bed be configured around the room, the resident, and the level of support needed.
- Quick bed end installation: Makes setup more manageable when assembling or adjusting the bed frame.
- Multiple board color options: Cherry, oak, mahogany, and walnut options help the bed look less clinical in home care or long-term care rooms.
