The Span-America Encore MC9 is a fully electric, height-adjustable hospital bed built for comfort, safety, and mobility. It’s designed to reduce caregiver strain and help patients move or reposition easily. Every adjustment—head, foot, height, and tilt is powered through a simple hand control, allowing smooth, quiet operation.
The bed’s GlideAlign® Retractable Deck System keeps the user’s body in line while the head section is raised. This design reduces sliding and skin friction, making it easier to sit up, eat, or breathe comfortably without needing to be pulled up in bed.
The bed lowers to just 7.9 inches from the floor, reducing injury risk from accidental falls. When the bed is raised, caregivers can work at a safer standing height of up to 31 inches. The Smart Stop™ Safety System automatically stops lowering when the deck reaches 12.5″at a safe transfer height and includes a light alert and under-bed night light for nighttime visibility.

With ReadyWide® Expandable Frame Technology, the mattress surface adjusts from 36” to 42” wide to give users more space and support. The bed also offers Trendelenburg and Reverse Trendelenburg functions for advanced positioning—helping improve circulation, comfort, and respiratory support when needed.

Out of stock/backorder: We will contact you with available options, which may include an estimated restock date, an alternative product, or a refund if you choose not to proceed.
You will receive email updates throughout the process, including tracking details once your order ships.
Cancellations within 24 hours may be approved at our discretion only if the order has not been placed/paid with the supplier or shipped.
Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for most products. All approved refunds are subject to a 25% restocking fee, and all shipping and any white-glove delivery costs are non-refundable.
After 7 days, and up to 14 days from delivery, eligible orders may be exchanged only, subject to the same condition requirements.
Certain products, including pre-orders, backorders, custom items, and select brands, are final sale and not eligible for return, refund, or exchange. After 14 days from delivery, all sales are final.
Returned items must be unused, in their original packaging, and include all accessories, components, and documentation. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility and are non-refundable.

Pre-orders and backorders are paid in full at the time of purchase to secure inventory that is specifically allocated to your order.
Once placed, we immediately commit funds with our suppliers and reserve inventory. For this reason, pre-orders and backorders cannot be cancelled and are non-refundable once confirmed.
Estimated shipping timelines are provided in good faith. Delays may occur due to factors outside our control, including manufacturing schedules, supplier availability, or freight and logistics issues.
If an exception is approved at our sole discretion, a cancellation and restocking fee will apply and will be deducted from any approved refund.

If an item arrives defective or damaged, the manufacturer will offer a replacement at no cost. Issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
A replacement requires the defective item to be returned before a new unit is shipped. A prepaid return label will be provided for approved claims.
If you decline a replacement and request a return instead, the request will be handled under the standard return policy, including a 25% restocking fee and non-refundable shipping costs.
Damage not reported within 24 hours may not be eligible for a claim.
Large or freight items are delivered to the address provided at checkout and are typically not returned to sender. Tracking details will be provided.
If an order is refused at delivery or returned to the sender, a 25% restocking fee will apply, and you are responsible for all outbound and return shipping costs.
All products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, which varies by brand.
We can provide proof of purchase and assist with documentation; however, warranty claims are handled directly by the manufacturer.
After the return period, repair or replacement decisions are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty terms and may require return of the defective item.
