Adjustable Hospital Bed for Easier Daily Care at Home

Home care often means adjusting the bed many times a day: raising the head section for sitting up, lifting the knee section for leg positioning, lowering the bed for access, or raising it when a caregiver needs to change linens or provide bedside care. With a manual bed, those small adjustments can become tiring and time-consuming.

The CostCare B130C Full-Electric Homecare Bed gives users and caregivers powered control from a hand pendant. Instead of using a crank for routine positioning, the bed height, backrest, and knee section can be adjusted with simple up and down buttons.

That makes the B130C a practical choice for families who need an adjustable hospital bed for home use that supports daily care, room cleaning, linen changes, and more comfortable in-bed positioning without making every adjustment a manual task.

Powered Positioning with Practical Home Setup

The CostCare B130C includes a split-frame design to support delivery and setup inside the home. It also comes with a wire mattress platform, four casters, and six mattress retainers to help keep the mattress positioned during bed adjustment.

If powered controls are not available, the manual hand crank gives caregivers a backup way to raise or lower the bed by hand during a power outage or when the electric system is not in use.

The B130C has 3 electric motors—one for the backrest and one for the knee section and one for height adjustment.

What is the weight capacity of the bed?

The safe working load (SWL) is 450 lbs total, which includes the user, mattress, and any accessories. The bed is designed for long-term daily use under this limit.

Can I move the bed easily?

Yes. The B130C includes four casters, two of which are locking wheels. You can roll the bed to a new position and lock it securely when in place.

What kind of mattress can I use with this bed?

How do I clean and maintain the bed?

Unplug the bed before cleaning. Wipe down the frame with disinfectant and avoid spraying directly on electrical parts. Check and tighten bolts or rivets occasionally, and apply a light lubricant to pivot points every few months.
