The DermaFloat LAL Therapy System by Joerns Healthcare is a unique therapy system that provides pressure redistribution by combining low air loss with pulsation. Low air loss therapy has been demonstrated to reduce the risk of pressure injuries as well as being a valuable aid in the treatment of pressure injuries.
The pulsation feature may provide additional resident comfort and enhance the lymphatic system. The DermaFloat Low Air Loss is designed as a mattress replacement system for residents weighing up to 500 lbs. 80"L x 36"W or 42"W x 10"H

The DermaFloat Low Air Loss Mattress Therapy System offers three operation modes—AutoFirm, Therapy, and Pulsate— to meet different patient needs. AutoFirm mode provides firm support, making transfers and repositioning easier. Therapy mode alternates pressure to improve circulation and prevent pressure injuries. Pulsate mode creates a gentle wave-like motion for added comfort and better blood flow. These adjustable settings help enhance patient comfort, promote healing, and support overall skin health.

The CairRails® risk management system helps prevent resident falls and entrapment, creating a safer care environment. These built-in side air bolsters provide extra support and stability, reducing gaps between the mattress and bed frame.
Recognized by top healthcare systems, CairRails improve safety and risk management, ensuring residents stay secure while receiving therapy. With four-inch side bolsters, they offer added protection, making patient care safer and more reliable.

True Low Air Loss Technology – Wicks away moisture to prevent skin maceration, keeping the resident’s skin dry and reducing the risk of pressure injuries.
Twenty Individual Air Cells – Evenly distribute the resident’s weight to maximize pressure redistribution, enhancing comfort and preventing pressure ulcers.
Low Shear and Low Friction Therapy Pad – Treated with antibacterial and antifungal agents, fluid-proof, and moisture vapor permeable, helping to maintain skin integrity and reduce infection risk.
Two-Inch Lower Safety Mattress – Provides a backup air supply for up to 12 hours in case of a power failure, preventing bottoming out and ensuring resident safety during transport.
CairRails® Risk Management Side Air Bolsters – Enhances safety by reducing the risk of falls and entrapment while offering additional lateral support.
Available in 36″ and 42″ widths, this mattress provides optimal comfort for residents while giving caregivers extra space to perform necessary procedures with ease.
Three Operation Modes (AutoFirm, Therapy, and Pulsate) – Allows caregivers to customize therapy settings for different patient needs, providing firm support, alternating pressure relief, or gentle pulsation for enhanced circulation.
CPR Quick Deflation – Enables rapid mattress deflation in emergency situations, allowing for immediate medical intervention when needed.
