Z-4 Electric Scooter FAQ


  1. Does my scooter arrive fully assembled?
    Your scooter will arrive almost fully assembled. You will need to attach a few remaining parts.
  2. Can my scooter go on an airplane or cruise?
    Yes. The 12AH lithium-ion battery option is approved by most airlines and cruise lines. Confirm with the airline or cruise line before traveling. The 30AH is not airline or cruise approved.
  3. I’ve run out of battery. Can I push my scooter?
    Yes. To push the Z-4, turn off the power and disengage the motor by pulling the levers into the unlocked position, enabling free-wheel mode.
  4. Does the armrest raise?
    Yes. Both armrests can raise or flip up for easier access.
  5. How do I charge the battery?
    You can charge the battery directly. Charging takes 6-8 hours for a fully empty battery, less for a partially charged one. Unplug the charger once fully charged.
  6. Does my scooter come with a warranty?
    Yes. The Z-4 scooter includes a 3-year frame, 1-year motor, 1-year battery, and 1-year electronic parts warranty.
  7. Can I use my scooter on dirt and grass?
    Yes. The Z-4 can easily handle low grass and compacted dirt surfaces.
  8. Where can I find the serial number of my scooter?
    The serial number is located on the frame near the footrest, in the product manual, and on the shipping box.

Warranty Information

By our warranty agreement, all new products come with a limited warranty. Batteries are covered by a six-month warranty, while spare parts have a one-year warranty. However, the limited warranty does not cover labor costs or device malfunctions caused by the owner's misuse or negligence. It also excludes non-durable components and parts subject to normal wear and tear that may need replacement over time, such as rubber materials, accessories, wheels, brakes, and plastic parts. All warranty claims require proof of purchase and the serial number.
Please note that the warranty does not cover the following conditions:
Functional problems: Issues related to normal use and aging, such as surface coating, plating, or natural fading of resins.
Replacement of consumable materials: Items like tires, fuses, plastic parts, glass parts, lubricants, etc., due to wear and tear.
Service fees: Any fees for inspection, adjustment, oil changes, or cleaning services.
Dealer-performed maintenance: Fees for service and maintenance performed by dealers as specified by our factory.
Unauthorized maintenance: Costs for maintenance at unauthorized service centers.
Failure to check issues: If you fail to regularly check and address issues outlined in section 7 of the user manual.
Improper maintenance: If incorrect or improper maintenance is performed.
Unauthorized repairs: Maintenance or repairs conducted by unauthorized personnel.
Improper use: Operating the product outside of the recommended guidelines in the manual, including overloading the scooter.
Modifications: Any unauthorized modifications made to the wheelchair.
External factors: Damage caused by external elements such as soot, chemicals, bird droppings, acid rain, flying debris, metal powder, etc.
Natural disasters: Damage resulting from events such as typhoons, floods, fires, earthquakes, or other natural disasters.

Order Processing 

Once your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation email confirming that we have received and begun processing your order.

Stock availability is confirmed after purchase:

  • In stock: Your order will be prepared and shipped.

  • Out of stock/backorder: We will contact you with available options, which may include an estimated restock date, an alternative product, or a refund if you choose not to proceed.

You will receive email updates throughout the process, including tracking details once your order ships.

Cancellations within 24 hours may be approved at our discretion only if the order has not been placed/paid with the supplier or shipped.

Returns

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for most products. All approved refunds are subject to a 25% restocking fee, and all shipping and any white-glove delivery costs are non-refundable.

After 7 days, and up to 14 days from delivery, eligible orders may be exchanged only, subject to the same condition requirements.

Certain products, including pre-orders, backorders, custom items, and select brands, are final sale and not eligible for return, refund, or exchange. After 14 days from delivery, all sales are final.

Condition of Returns

Returned items must be unused, in their original packaging, and include all accessories, components, and documentation. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility and are non-refundable.

Pre-Orders & Backorders

Pre-orders and backorders are paid in full at the time of purchase to secure inventory that is specifically allocated to your order.

Once placed, we immediately commit funds with our suppliers and reserve inventory. For this reason, pre-orders and backorders cannot be cancelled and are non-refundable once confirmed.

Estimated shipping timelines are provided in good faith. Delays may occur due to factors outside our control, including manufacturing schedules, supplier availability, or freight and logistics issues.

If an exception is approved at our sole discretion, a cancellation and restocking fee will apply and will be deducted from any approved refund.

Final Sale Items

The following categories are non-returnable and non-refundable:

Defective or Damaged Items

If an item arrives defective or damaged, the manufacturer will offer a replacement at no cost. Issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

A replacement requires the defective item to be returned before a new unit is shipped. A prepaid return label will be provided for approved claims.

If you decline a replacement and request a return instead, the request will be handled under the standard return policy, including a 25% restocking fee and non-refundable shipping costs.

Damage not reported within 24 hours may not be eligible for a claim.

Missed Deliveries & Refused Shipments

Large or freight items are delivered to the address provided at checkout and are typically not returned to sender. Tracking details will be provided.

If an order is refused at delivery or returned to the sender, a 25% restocking fee will apply, and you are responsible for all outbound and return shipping costs.

Warranty

All products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, which varies by brand.
We can provide proof of purchase and assist with documentation; however, warranty claims are handled directly by the manufacturer.

After the return period, repair or replacement decisions are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty terms and may require return of the defective item.
