The Digital Bariatric Alternating Pressure LAL Mattress System by Proactive Medical supports patients up to 660 lbs with a high airflow dual compressor pump producing 18 liters per minute. It offers three therapies in one system: low air loss, alternating pressure, and pulsation, with customizable cycle times. The Auto-Seat feature automatically adjusts pressure for inclined positions, and "on-demand side air bolsters" prevent roll-outs and entrapment.

The system includes an auto firm mode for quick inflation, a static mode with auto-recovery, and three alarms for low pressure, power failure, and service for added safety and comfort. The cell-on-cell design maintains air during power failures, while the independent low air loss system diffuses air from beneath the mattress. The fluid-resistant, anti-microbial nylon top cover is quilted for comfort, and a CPR twist valve allows for rapid deflation.

This mattress system is designed to support patients weighing up to 660 lbs, making it ideal for bariatric care and those requiring advanced pressure relief.
The Protekt Aire 8900 offers three-in-one therapy: low air loss, alternating pressure, and pulsation. These features help with pressure redistribution, moisture management, and patient comfort.
The Auto-Seat function automatically adjusts air pressure when the patient is in an inclined position, preventing excessive pressure buildup and improving overall support.
The on-demand side air bolsters help prevent roll-outs and entrapment, providing additional safety. They can also be quickly deflated when necessary for easier patient transfer.
The mattress features a cell-on-cell design, meaning the lower air cells retain air even if power is lost. This ensures continuous support and prevents bottoming out.
The system allows caregivers to customize alternating pressure cycles to 10, 15, 20, 25, or 30 minutes, while the pulsation mode can be set to 10 or 30 minutes for enhanced therapy.
Yes, the audible and visual alarms alert caregivers in case of low pressure, power failure, or service issues, ensuring immediate attention and patient safety.
The fluid-resistant, anti-microbial, and anti-bacterial quilted nylon cover enhances durability, prevents moisture buildup, and is easy to wipe clean for improved hygiene.
The CPR twist valve allows for rapid air deflation, making it easier for caregivers to perform emergency procedures or quickly remove the mattress when needed.
The pump unit is covered under a two-year warranty, while the mattress itself comes with a one-year warranty, ensuring reliability and long-term use.
