Powered Toilet Lift with Free-Standing Designs

The LiftSeat Independence series is a powered toilet lift that assists with sitting down and standing up from the toilet. It is available in two seat heights that share the same footprint and lift system: Independence I, with a 17" seat height for users under 5’5”, and Independence II, with an 18.5" seat height for users over 5’5”.

Compact Footprint That Fits Most Bathrooms

Both Independence models use the same narrow 21.5" footprint, allowing them to fit in smaller bathrooms and tighter spaces. The lift is free-standing and does not attach to the toilet or floor, so there’s no drilling or permanent modification. It fits over standard toilet bowls up to 16" wide and can be repositioned if needed.

Powered Sit-to-Stand Operation with Simple Controls

The LiftSeat Independence series uses LiftSeat’s patented LiftTek™ Core Assistive Technology to raise and lower the seat through a controlled sit-to-stand motion. Operation is handled by a wired two-button hand controller that moves the seat up or down at a steady pace. The electric motor runs quietly and is designed for regular daily use.

Power Options and Optional Accessories

Each unit includes a 10-foot AC power cord. Optional configurations are available with battery backup or battery-only operation. Additional options include locking casters for mobility, a bedside commode bucket with splash guard, alternate hand or foot controls, and compatibility with electric bidet seats.

Ships Nearly Assembled with Tool-Free Setup

The LiftSeat Independence ships 98% assembled. Setup involves removing the existing toilet seat, placing the unit over the bowl, adjusting the leveling feet, and plugging in the power cord. No tools or permanent installation are required.

This warranty is extended to the original purchaser or user of LiftSeat®. It grants specific legal rights, and additional rights may vary by state. LiftSeat® warrants the Independence LiftTek™ mechanical system which replicates the natural sit-to-stand motion for a period of 24 months from the date of shipment. The powder-coated paint finish, control box, hand pendant, batteries, and linear actuator are covered for 12 months from the date of purchase. If a covered product is proven defective within the applicable warranty period, LiftSeat® will, at its discretion, repair or replace the item. This warranty does not cover labor or shipping costs associated with repairs or part replacements. LiftSeat’s® sole responsibility under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective item.

We understand that plans can change, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

• Within 24 hours of placing your order: Free cancellation.

  • Exception: If your order has already been processed a 25% restocking fee may apply even within the first 24 hours.

• After 24 hours: A 25% restocking fee will apply, certain brands cannot be cancelled,

• Custom orders: Cannot be canceled once processing has begun.

Please note:

• Some orders are processed and paid immediately. If your order has already been processed or shipped, it cannot be canceled.

• Refunds are only issued within 7 days of purchase.

• Returns requested after 7 days, up to 14 days, are only eligible for an exchange and may be subject to a restocking fee.

• All cancellations must be submitted in writing.

Pre-Orders
Please note that pre-orders are paid upfront to secure your item. While we always strive to meet the estimated shipping timelines, delays may occasionally occur due to factors outside of our control (such as manufacturing or supplier issues). Because pre-orders are reserved and allocated in advance, they are non-refundable. If a refund is requested, a restocking fee will apply.

💵 Refunds

Returns that require a refund are only accepted within 7 days of receiving your item. To qualify, the product must be unused, in its original packaging, and include all parts, accessories, and paperwork. Refunds are issued to the original payment method, minus shipping, handling, and restocking fees.

🔁 Returns (Exchanges)

Returns for exchange are accepted within 14 days of receiving your item, subject to the following conditions:

• Item must be unused, in original packaging, with all accessories and documents

• A 25% restocking fee applies

• Shipping costs (both ways) are non-refundable and the customer’s responsibility

🚫 Non-Returnable Items

Some products cannot be returned or refunded due to hygiene, customization, or manufacturer policies. These include (but are not limited to):

⚠️ Defective or Damaged Items

If a product arrives defective or damaged, the manufacturer will offer a replacement at no cost to you. You must report the issue within 24 hours of delivery and return the defective item before a replacement can be shipped. A prepaid return label will be provided.

If you choose not to accept a replacement and instead request a return, the order will be treated as a standard return. In this case, the following applies:

• A 25% restocking fee will be deducted

• Shipping costs (both ways) are non-refundable and the customer’s responsibility

📭 Missed Deliveries

Large Freight Deliveries (Including the PLIFT by Discover Your Mobility)

• Large freight deliveries are not usually returned to sender. They will be dropped off at the delivery address you provide.

• You will be given tracking details to monitor your shipment.

• We are not responsible for missed deliveries, as the freight carrier will leave the item at your address.

Returns to Sender

• If an order is refused at delivery or otherwise returned to sender, a 25% restocking fee will apply.

• You are also responsible for both outbound and return shipping costs in such cases.

🔧 Warranty

All products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Terms vary by brand. We can provide:

• Proof of purchase

• Warranty documentation

After the return period, warranty claims must be handled directly with the manufacturer. Where items cannot be repaired, the manufacturer will require the defective item to be returned before a replacement can be shipped.
