OB-2650 PremiumAir Alternating Pressure Mattress
The OB-2650 PremiumAir™ Mattress is made for people who spend long periods in bed and need better pressure relief. It gently shifts pressure points over time, helping reduce constant pressure on the same areas of the body.
This helps reduce soreness, supports circulation, and keeps the skin cooler and drier, making daily rest more comfortable.
Note: Bed Frame, Bedpan and Shampoo Basin are Not Included
Quiet, Stable, and Supportive
The system runs quietly to avoid disturbing sleep or rest. Its low-noise design helps maintain a calm environment, day or night.
Inflatable side supports and gentle turning features help keep the user centered on the bed. These features also make repositioning easier and safer, reducing strain for caregivers.
Built to Stay Supportive, Even During Power Loss
The mattress includes a backup air layer that helps keep the user supported if power is lost. This added protection helps prevent sinking and maintains comfort until power is restored.
Controls are simple and located at the foot of the bed, making adjustments easy.
OB-2650 PremiumAir Mattress Pump/Control Unit Functions
Easier Daily Hygiene Care
Built-in Easy-Go bedpan and shampoo systems allow personal care to be done directly in bed. This reduces the need for lifting and helps caregivers manage daily hygiene tasks more safely and efficiently.
OB-2650 StandardAir Mattress Features
Patented “Easy Go” Bedpan Function (Push Button)
Press the Bedpan button on the control unit, and within about 20 seconds the mattress lowers under the hips to make space for a bedpan. Press again and the mattress returns to normal. One caregiver can do this without moving the patient. (Bedpan not included)
Patented “Easy Go” Shampoo Function (Push Button)
Press the Shampoo button on the control unit, and within about 20 seconds the mattress lowers under the head to make space for a shampoo basin. Press again and the mattress returns to normal. One caregiver can do this without moving the patient. (Shampoo basin not included)
Patented Inflatable Air-Filled Guardrails
The 4-inch inflatable guardrails provide soft but strong support to help prevent falls, bumps, or collisions. They also reduce the risk of the body slipping or getting stuck between the mattress and the guardrail.
Inflatable Air-Filled Guardrail: Press the quick-release valve to deflate the guardrail within seconds. Reinsert the valve to inflate it again just as quickly.
Multiple Rotation Angles (15°/25°/40°)
The mattress offers multiple rotation angles (15°, 25°, and 40°) that can be adjusted to meet different positioning needs. These options support better airflow in the lungs and help with general positioning during extended bed use.
Low Air Loss feature plus 820L Air flow fan
The mattress delivers steady airflow at 15 LPM with a built-in fan to keep the skin cool, dry, and comfortable. This helps reduce moisture, prevent heat buildup, and protect against pressure ulcers from stage 1 to stage 4.
Fowler & Seating Function
When the head of the bed is raised, the Fowler function boosts support in the seat and torso areas to prevent bottoming out. This helps maintain proper posture and reduces the risk of pressure injuries while seated.
15° Self-Lateral Rotation & Sinking Feature
Special air cells gently inflate and deflate in a wave-like motion, creating a light 15° rotation. This movement helps spread out body weight to reduce pressure points, improve circulation, and support better rest. Sinking Feature The mattress lowers up to 4 inches, working with the 4-inch inflatable guardrails to form an 8-inch deep soft barrier. This keeps the patient centered and safe during rotation.
Vibration Massager plus Body Warmer
Vibration Massager: Features a microprocessor that controls multiple massage modes. Provides gentle vibration designed to promote relaxation, support circulation, and offer a soothing experience for the user’s back and muscles.
Warmer: Provides soothing and relaxing heat evenly distributed along the patient’s back, positioned directly above the alternating air cells for enhanced relaxation.
Cover Features
Designed to minimize friction and shearing of the skin
Vapor permeable to facilitate moisture removal into the airflow away from the mattress
Perspiration vacates through the mattress cover surface and/or the patient’s bed boundary
Liquid resistant, Fireproof
Latex, lead, and mercury-free
Below the cover layer, vapor flows out with the Low Air Loss Feature to lower humidity under the patient while simultaneously transferring away moisture and heat
Air cells are composed of a combination of thermoplastic polyurethane and nylon (TPU) and airtight with high-frequency, heat sealing and are liquid proof and machine washable
