Fixed Foundation: This foundation provides a stable, unchanging height and includes HI-LO functionality for easy adjustments. The mattress rests securely on either a box spring or bunkie board, depending on your preference.
Note that the primary difference between the two is the depth; opting for a bunkie board adds about 5 inches of additional safety rail protection.
Manual Foundation: With four different settings available, this foundation features hand cranks that utilize a hydraulic system, designed for effortless operation by caregivers.
Manual Hi-Lo Foundation (Non-Articulating): Simplifies adjusting the mattress height with a single crank positioned in the bed's front panel beneath the safety rail, allowing for straightforward height modifications without articulating features.
Manual Articulating Foundation (Non-Hi-Lo): Specialized for adjusting the bed's head and/or knee sections with two cranks, also located in the bed's front panel under the safety rail. This setup enables angle adjustments without affecting the overall bed height.
Electric Articulating Foundation with Manual Hi-Lo: Offers the convenience of electrically adjusting the bed's head and knee/foot sections via a remote, paired with a manual crank for height adjustments. This foundation combines ease of use with flexible positioning.
Manual Hi-Lo and Articulating Foundation: Equipped with three cranks in the front panel below the safety rail, this foundation provides comprehensive adjustability. It allows for both the mattress height and the angles of the bed's head and knee/foot sections to be modified, ensuring maximum comfort and versatility.
