Domus Series Air Mattress FAQ
Cell-on-cell design means the bottom cells act as basic pressure support to prevent bottoming out in case of power failure. Wellell’s Domus Series, including Domus 4, uses air cells with this design in the sacrum area to improve patient support and comfort during sitting positions and when patients leave and enter the bed.
The cover is made with nylon/PU and is vapor permeable, fire-resistant, and water-resistant. See specifications for more details on the fire-retardant standards.
All air cells are made from Thermoplastic Polyurethanes (TPU). This material is highly resistant to breaking down when in contact with water (hydrolysis), soft to touch, and minimizes friction and noise during patient movements.
Wellell Manufacturer's Product Warranty
Most products on our Wellell website come with a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects. Check individual product listings for specific warranty details. If a defect occurs during the warranty period due to manufacturing issues, Wellell will provide replacement parts at no cost. Some manufacturers offer longer warranties, while others have shorter terms for certain items like batteries. Please note that wear and tear items and consumables are not covered by the warranty.
