The GoLift 1000 Ceiling Lift System by Amico is engineered specifically for bariatric patient handling in hospitals, long-term care facilities, and clinical environments.

Unlike standard ceiling lifts, the GoLift 1000 uses a tandem lift configuration to safely achieve a 1000 lb lifting capacity, making it suitable for facilities caring for patients over 700 lbs. Despite its increased capacity, the system maintains a compact footprint and quiet operation to support patient comfort and caregiver confidence.

Warranty Policy - Mobility Solutions

The primary purpose of our ceiling lift system is to safely lift, transfer and reposition a patient with as little effort as possible for the caregiver, regardless of the room type. The Amico Mobility Solutions Corporation’s GoLift is easy and safe to use for caregivers as well as patients. The lift systems fit into all environments and fulfill the highest requirements of function, safety and reliability.

Amico Mobility Solutions Corporation warrants its lifting equipment and workmanship to be free from defects for a period of three (3) years from the date of installation. This includes tracks, lift motor, and carry bar.

Within this period, Amico Mobility Solutions Corporation will replace any part (at no additional charge), which is deemed defective. Shipping and installation costs after the first twelve (12) months will be borne by the customer. The following exclusions apply: the warranty for batteries is for a period of three (3) months from the time of installation; the warranty for power supply is one (1) year from the time of installation.

This warranty is valid only when the product has been properly installed as outlined in the Amico Mobility Solutions Corporation specifications; including but not limited to proper usage and servicing of systems according to factory recommendations. It does not cover damages as a result of shipment failures, accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, alternation, misapplication or damages which may be attributed to acts of God.

Amico Mobility Solutions Corporation shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of the equipment.

Order Processing

Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your order.

Orders are fulfilled directly through our authorized manufacturer partners to ensure you receive the newest production inventory.

If an item is temporarily unavailable, we will contact you promptly with updated availability and options. At that time, you may choose to proceed with the revised timeline or cancel for a full refund.

If you confirm that you wish to proceed, the order becomes a confirmed backorder. Once we commit funds with the supplier to reserve inventory specifically for your order, it cannot be cancelled.

You will receive email updates throughout the process, including tracking details once your order ships.

Cancellations within 24 hours may be approved at our discretion if the order has not yet been placed with the supplier or shipped.

Returns

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for eligible products.

Approved returns are subject to:

  • A 25% restocking fee

  • Non-refundable outbound shipping

  • Non-refundable white-glove delivery charges (if applicable)

After 7 days, and up to 14 days from delivery, eligible products may be exchanged only.

After 14 days, all sales are considered final.

Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, and include all components and documentation. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

Pre-Orders & Backorders

Some products may require advance reservation to secure manufacturer inventory.

Pre-orders and confirmed backorders are paid in full at the time of purchase. Once inventory is reserved and funds are committed with the supplier, these orders cannot be cancelled.

Estimated shipping timelines are provided in good faith. Delays may occur due to manufacturing schedules, supplier availability, or freight logistics.

Any exception granted is at our sole discretion and may be subject to a cancellation and restocking fee.

Final Sale Items

Due to hygiene, safety, or manufacturer restrictions, the following items are non-returnable:

Defective or Damaged Items

If an item arrives defective or damaged, the manufacturer will offer a replacement at no cost. Issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

A replacement requires the defective item to be returned before a new unit is shipped. A prepaid return label will be provided for approved claims.

If you decline a replacement and request a return instead, the request will be handled under the standard return policy, including a 25% restocking fee and non-refundable shipping costs.

Damage not reported within 24 hours may not be eligible for a claim.

Missed Deliveries, Refused Shipments & Incorrect Addresses

Freight and large-item deliveries are scheduled to the address provided at checkout. Please ensure all delivery details are accurate before submitting your order.

If an order is refused at delivery or returned to the sender, a 25% restocking fee will apply, and all outbound and return shipping costs will be the customer’s responsibility.

If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided and the shipment requires re-delivery, address correction, or is returned to the sender, the customer is responsible for any additional shipping, freight, storage, or re-delivery fees charged by the carrier.

Warranty

All products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, which varies by brand and product.

We are happy to assist you with documentation, proof of purchase, and guidance throughout the warranty process. Warranty service, repairs, and replacements are handled directly by the manufacturer in accordance with their terms and coverage.

After the return period has passed, any repair or replacement requests will be subject to the manufacturer’s warranty policy and may require return of the defective item for inspection.

Payment Disputes

If you experience any issue with your order, please contact us directly so we can resolve it as quickly as possible.

In the event of a payment dispute, we may provide order records, communication history, and this policy to the payment provider for review.
