Bariatric Long-Term Care Low Bed for Flexible Facility Care

The CostCare B357 Bariatric Bed is a long-term care low bed designed for facilities that need more flexibility than a standard care bed. Its expandable platform, low height range, caster positioning controls, and bed rail options help care teams adapt the bed to different resident needs and room setups.

Built for bariatric care, the B357 combines extra sleep surface space, electric adjustability, and a higher stated weight rating in one frame, making it a practical choice for nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, and assisted living environments.

Positioning & Height Adjustment

Trendelenburg & Reverse Trendelenburg Tilt

The bed tilts up to ±12° in Trendelenburg and Reverse Trendelenburg positions, allowing the head or foot end of the bed to be adjusted when needed. The backrest also adjusts from 0° to 65°, and the knee break adjusts from 0° to 35° for controlled in-bed positioning during daily care.

CostCare B357 Bariatric Width Long Term Care Low Bed - Tilt up to 12 degrees

Low Height for Easier Bed Access

The B357 Hi-Low Adjustable Bed lowers to 9.6 inches and raises up to 26 inches. This height range gives users a lower bed surface for entry and exit, while also giving caregivers a higher working height for routine bedside tasks.

For care settings comparing wider long-term care beds, the B357 is best understood as a wide, low-profile, electric positioning bed with a higher stated weight rating than standard-width models.
