The Craftsmen 2-in-1 550 XL Carrier by Discover Your Mobility is a reliable, heavy-duty solution for transporting your mobility scooter or power wheelchair with ease and confidence. Designed for larger devices, this carrier offers a wide, foldable ramp and sturdy platform built to handle up to 400 lbs.

Easy Loading Ramp and 3 Fold Positions

The ramp is 33.25" wide by 64.50" long, giving you a gentle slope to easily roll your scooter or wheelchair onto the carrier. It folds into three positions: flat for storage, upright for travel, and unfolded for loading. A simple pull-pin system locks the ramp into place quickly and securely.


Space-Saving Folding Feature

With a pull of a hitch pin or hand plunger, the entire carrier folds upright and flush against your vehicle. Perfect for saving space in garages, carports, and parking lots.

The distance between the hitch pin hole and the carrier is 13 7/8" unfolded and when the carrier is folded the distance is 4 3/4".


Strong and Durable Build

Made from high-grade steel and a lightweight alloy ramp, the 550 XL Carrier is built to last. It Support in any kind of scooter and wheelchair that weights up to 400lbs. The steel mesh platform is reinforced with square support tubes that won’t bend under heavy weight.


Easy Hitch Setup

The 2" hitch tube is designed for Class III or IV hitches and includes a 5/8" hitch pin hole. The hitch tube connects with four bolts and a safety pin and can be removed when not in use. An adjustment bolt underneath helps level the carrier for smooth installation.


Night Visibility and Extra Gear

Two rear reflectors provide added visibility when driving at night. The carrier also comes with an optional all-weather nylon cover to protect your 400 lbs mobility scooter or electric wheelchairs from rain, snow, and sun. Covers are available in small, medium, and large sizes to fit different equipment.

It comes with four quick-set ratchet tie-down straps rated for 2,000 lbs (strap capacity only) with rubber-coated hooks to prevent scratching. These can be easily attached to the 10 tie-down holes along the ramp’s 4¼" tall sides.

Order Processing

Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your order.

Orders are fulfilled directly through our authorized manufacturer partners to ensure you receive the newest production inventory.

If an item is temporarily unavailable, we will contact you promptly with updated availability and options. At that time, you may choose to proceed with the revised timeline or cancel for a full refund.

If you confirm that you wish to proceed, the order becomes a confirmed backorder. Once we commit funds with the supplier to reserve inventory specifically for your order, it cannot be cancelled.

You will receive email updates throughout the process, including tracking details once your order ships.

Cancellations within 24 hours may be approved at our discretion if the order has not yet been placed with the supplier or shipped.

Returns

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for eligible products.

Approved returns are subject to:

  • A 25% restocking fee

  • Non-refundable outbound shipping

  • Non-refundable white-glove delivery charges (if applicable)

After 7 days, and up to 14 days from delivery, eligible products may be exchanged only.

After 14 days, all sales are considered final.

Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, and include all components and documentation. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

Pre-Orders & Backorders

Some products may require advance reservation to secure manufacturer inventory.

Pre-orders and confirmed backorders are paid in full at the time of purchase. Once inventory is reserved and funds are committed with the supplier, these orders cannot be cancelled.

Estimated shipping timelines are provided in good faith. Delays may occur due to manufacturing schedules, supplier availability, or freight logistics.

Any exception granted is at our sole discretion and may be subject to a cancellation and restocking fee.

Final Sale Items

Due to hygiene, safety, or manufacturer restrictions, the following items are non-returnable:

  • Beds and mattresses

  • Batteries and chargers

  • All lifts (residential, vehicle, and patient lifts)

  • Lift chairs, geri chairs, and patient room chairs

  • Wheelchair cushions, support surfaces, and slings

  • Mobility accessories

Defective or Damaged Items

If an item arrives defective or damaged, the manufacturer will offer a replacement at no cost. Issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

A replacement requires the defective item to be returned before a new unit is shipped. A prepaid return label will be provided for approved claims.

If you decline a replacement and request a return instead, the request will be handled under the standard return policy, including a 25% restocking fee and non-refundable shipping costs.

Damage not reported within 24 hours may not be eligible for a claim.

Missed Deliveries, Refused Shipments & Incorrect Addresses

Freight and large-item deliveries are scheduled to the address provided at checkout. Please ensure all delivery details are accurate before submitting your order.

If an order is refused at delivery or returned to the sender, a 25% restocking fee will apply, and all outbound and return shipping costs will be the customer’s responsibility.

If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided and the shipment requires re-delivery, address correction, or is returned to the sender, the customer is responsible for any additional shipping, freight, storage, or re-delivery fees charged by the carrier.

Warranty

All products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, which varies by brand and product.

We are happy to assist you with documentation, proof of purchase, and guidance throughout the warranty process. Warranty service, repairs, and replacements are handled directly by the manufacturer in accordance with their terms and coverage.

After the return period has passed, any repair or replacement requests will be subject to the manufacturer’s warranty policy and may require return of the defective item for inspection.

Payment Disputes

In the event of a payment dispute, we may provide order records, communication history, and this policy to the payment provider for review.
