Drive Hospital Bed Mattress and Rail Compatibility
A mattress may not be included. Use an appropriately sized Drive hospital bed mattress that matches the selected 42", 48", or 54" frame width and the 80" sleep-surface length. The mattress must be at least 5.5" high and fit securely against the bed frame and any installed rails.
The 42" bed is compatible with Drive model 15301 basic foam mattress, 1500SC-42-FB ShearCare foam mattress, or 14030 Med Aire Plus system. Mattress suitability should be confirmed for the individual care plan and selected rail configuration.
Only compatible Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare rails should be used. Half rail 15021BV-LW is available separately and is also included with designated `-HR` packages. Drive states that its compatible rail accessories conform to applicable FDA entrapment guidance and ASTM standards when properly installed.
