The Forcemech Ultralite G20 is for travelers who want to reduce the assistance needed to lift a power chair into a vehicle for transport. Its removable battery lets the chair and battery be handled separately, reducing the weight attached to the frame during lifting.
The removable ForceMax 24V 12.5Ah battery is FAA air-flight compliant. Each airline or cruise line must still approve the wheelchair and provide its battery handling instructions before departure.
After arrival, unfold the chair, reinstall the battery, and use the same G20 for joystick-powered mobility. The chair and battery are handled separately during loading, then operate together at the destination.

The G20 combines supportive seat geometry, a contoured backrest, and armrests for a natural sitting position during longer outings. The standard cushions are not a pressure-relief system, so confirm prescribed seating needs and fit before ordering.

Will the seat fit the rider?
The seat measures 17.5 inches wide and 18 inches deep. Compare both measurements with the rider's seated hip width and upper-leg length.
Will the folded G20 fit in the vehicle?
The folded chair measures 29 inches long, 10 inches wide, and 28 inches high. Measure the cargo opening, available storage area, and any raised loading lip.
Can the battery be removed before lifting the chair?
Yes. Remove the battery before lifting so the chair and battery can be handled separately. Reinstall and secure the battery before powered operation.
How far can the G20 travel on one charge?
The rated driving distance is up to 12 miles. Rider weight, hills, surface conditions, speed, temperature, and battery condition affect actual range.
Can the controller be installed on either side?
Yes. The controller can attach to either armrest. The cable may need to be rerouted when changing sides.
Can the chair be pushed by an attendant?
Yes. Both motor levers can be placed in manual freewheel mode while the chair is powered off and on level ground. In freewheel mode, the chair does not have motor braking, so the attendant must maintain control.
Is the G10 battery compatible with the G20?
Yes. The owner's manual states that the Ultralite G10 battery can be used with the G20. Battery capacity and resulting range may differ from the supplied 24V 12.5Ah G20 battery.
Can the G20 be suitable for an older adult?
It may be suitable when the rider fits the seat and weight limits, can operate the joystick, and has a safe plan for transfers and transport. Age alone does not determine fit. Confirm control reach, seating needs, and safe operation before ordering.
What type of rider is the G20 designed for?

How is the G20 different from the G20 Pro?
The G20 Pro adds color-changing side lights and a rear tail light. The standard G20 on this page does not include those Pro-specific lights. The two models otherwise share the same core dimensions and performance specifications.

Forcemech provides a limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship for the original purchaser:

Warranty exclusions include cushions, tires, bearings, routine maintenance, unauthorized modifications, misuse, accidents, natural disasters, and damage caused by exceeding the 300 lb weight limit. Coverage applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable. Keep the original receipt and product serial number for a warranty claim.

Approved returns may be subject to:

Missed Deliveries, Refused Shipments & Incorrect Addresses
Freight and large-item deliveries are scheduled to the address provided at checkout. Please ensure all delivery details are accurate before submitting your order.
If an order is refused at delivery or returned to the sender, a 25% restocking fee will apply, and all outbound and return shipping costs will be the customer’s responsibility.
