The Joerns P.R.O. Matt Plus is built with a high-performance internal hosing and valve system, ensuring dynamic adaptation to patient movements. The mattress includes a one-inch viscoelastic memory foam topper, which enhances patient comfort and evenly distributes pressure to minimize risk zones. Its fluid-proof and stain-resistant cover ensures easy maintenance while preventing contamination. For additional safety, optional raised sidewalls help prevent accidental falls, offering enhanced security for at-risk patients. The non-skid, tear-resistant bottom ensures stability and prevents shifting on the bed frame.

For additional therapeutic benefits, the P.R.O. Technology Control Unit offers three operational modes:

Static Mode: Creates an optimal immersion and flotation environment, reducing peak pressure points.
Alternate Mode: Delivers alternating pressure therapy with adjustable cycle times (5, 10, 15, or 20 minutes) to enhance circulation and wound healing.
This control unit also includes a low-pressure alarm and auto-lockout safety features to ensure patient safety and caregiver convenience.
