A good everyday rollator should not feel complicated. The Drive Medical Aluminum Rollator with 6" Casters keeps things simple: a padded seat to rest on, 6" soft-grip casters that roll smoothly indoors and out, and handles that adjust from 30" to 37" to fit a wide range of users. It is the standard, full size counterpart to our Junior Rollator, built for adults who do not need the smaller, lower seat height of the Junior model.
A zippered pouch tucks under the seat to keep personal items secure, and the padded backrest slides into place without tools during setup. The 6" casters give you a smooth ride over varied terrain, and the loop lock system gives you three levels of control: ease off with your fingers to slow down gradually, press down with your palms to lock the wheels fully, or release to roll freely again. The hand brakes themselves can also be tightened or loosened at the wheel to match your grip over time.
Every Aluminum Rollator ships backed by Drive Medical's Limited Lifetime Warranty and a 300 lb weight capacity, so you can buy with confidence that it is built to hold up to daily use.
Every Aluminum Rollator comes with tool-free assembly and nothing extra to buy before you can start using it:

The Aluminum Rollator is covered by Drive Medical's Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for the original purchaser. This warranty does not cover damage from misuse or negligence, or normal wear and tear, and it does not extend to non-durable components such as rubber accessories, casters, and grips, which wear with normal use and are replaced periodically. If you ever have a warranty question, we're here to help as your authorized Drive Medical dealer.
Is the Aluminum Rollator motorized?
No, it's a manual mobility aid you walk with, there's no battery or motor involved. If you're looking for a powered option instead, browse our electric wheelchairs.
Is the Aluminum Rollator a wheelchair?
No. It's a walking aid with a seat to rest on, not a wheelchair, and it isn't designed to carry your full weight while someone else pushes it. If you need a seated mobility device instead, take a look at our wheelchairs.
Can someone push me while I'm sitting on it?
No. Per Drive Medical's safety instructions, this is a walking aid only and is not to be used as a transportation device. If you need a device that a caregiver can safely push while you're seated, our transport wheelchairs are built for that.
What is the weight capacity?
300 lbs.
How do I adjust the handle height?
Loosen the knob on the handle tube, slide it to the height you want between 30" and 37", then retighten until secure. Always test stability before applying your full weight to the handgrips.
How do the loop locks work?
Pull up slightly with your fingers to slow down gradually, press down firmly with your palms until you hear a click to lock the wheels in place, or push back up on both loop locks to release them. Always engage or release both sides at the same time.
Can the hand brakes be adjusted?
Yes. Turn the adjustment nut at the wheel clockwise to tighten it or counterclockwise to loosen it as the brakes wear in with normal use.
Is the backrest removable?
The padded backrest snaps into the frame during setup without any tools. The manual describes this as part of assembly rather than a feature for repeated removal, so if you're planning to take it in and out regularly, check with us first.
What's included with the Aluminum Rollator?
The frame, adjustable handles, padded backrest, padded seat, zippered under-seat pouch, and 6" soft-grip casters with loop locks.
What is the warranty?
Drive Medical's Limited Lifetime Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for the original purchaser, excluding misuse, normal wear, and non-durable parts like wheels and grips.
What colors are available?
Red, Black, and Blue. Purple and Green frame options exist but are reserved by Drive Medical for homecare customers, so we don't stock those two here.
Whether you're comparing walking aids for yourself or a loved one, the Aluminum Rollator with 6" Casters gives you a reliable, full size rollator backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Browse our full range of walking aids or order yours today.
