Intelligent Smart Stop Low Position Auto-Pause in Encore Hospital Bed
- Automatically stops lowering when the deck reaches 12.5″ (318 mm) from the floor.
- Lowering can then be resumed via foot-end (staff) control only.
- Provides a cue for caregivers to confirm under-bed clearance.

The Encore Hospital Bed Smart Stop Improves Low-Bed Safety and Ergonomics
Smart Stop prevents falls by prohibiting the user from trying to egress from a dangerously too-low level. Lowering into the low-height zone is only possible using the FEC. Flashing indicators display as the bed goes into the low-height zone. Under-bed indicators can also be switched over to discreet nighttime floor-level illumination.
3-Position Assist Device
