The Domus 4 Alternating Pressure Mattress by Wellell is designed to provide exceptional comfort and support for patients at moderate to high risk of pressure ulcers. With its advanced digital controls, the Domus 4 offers alternating and constant low-pressure modes for optimal pressure relief and comfort. It prevents bottoming out while seated, ensures proper positioning, and operates quietly for a peaceful environment. This system enhances comfort, protects skin, and promotes restful sleep.
The Domus 4 mattress has the following dimensions: 79 inches (length) x 35 inches (width) x 8 inches (height). This size is designed to accommodate patients comfortably and fit standard medical bed frames. The mattress also supports a maximum weight capacity of 450 lbs.

The Domus 4 mattress offers exceptional comfort with its easy-to-use digital control panel. It lets you adjust the air levels to ensure consistent support, helping to prevent bottoming out and providing relief to the coccyx area, even while seated. The mattress also creates a stable surface, making it easier for caregivers to assist patients. With its tailored design, the Domus 4 enhances comfort by gently enveloping the body, promoting a restful sleep. The mattress operates quietly, minimizing disturbances and ensuring a peaceful, comfortable experience for patients, contributing to better overall satisfaction.

The Domus 4 microclimate management feature with low air loss helps wick away moisture from the mattress surface, keeping the skin dry and comfortable. By reducing excess moisture, it helps prevent skin irritation and pressure ulcers, creating a more comfortable sleeping environment. This feature promotes better skin health and enhances the overall comfort of the mattress, ensuring patients feel cooler and more at ease throughout the night.

The easy-to-use pump interface on the Domus 4 mattress allows caregivers to seamlessly switch between pressure settings, helping them customize the surface to best meet patient needs and optimize comfort and support.

The Domus 4 heel relief function allows for easy removal of individual air cells, floating the heels with zero pressure to prevent heel injuries. This feature helps reduce the risk of pressure ulcers and promotes better comfort and healing for sensitive areas, ensuring a safer and more effective care experience.

The seat inflation mode adjusts the pressure of the air cells to help prevent bottoming out while sitting. This feature enhances stability and provides better support, improving overall comfort for patients who are seated for extended periods. By maintaining proper pressure, it helps reduce the risk of pressure ulcers and ensures a more comfortable and secure seating experience.

The mattress offers multiple therapy modes to cater to various patient needs. The Static mode enhances patient immersion, providing a stable, supportive surface. The Alternate mode facilitates pressure redistribution, helping to prevent pressure ulcers. Additionally, the Max Firm mode offers increased firmness, making it ideal for nursing procedures and ensuring patient safety and comfort during care. These versatile modes ensure tailored support for improved patient outcomes.
