The Serene Air Low-Air-Loss Mattress by Wellell is designed to prevent pressure injuries in high-risk patients, especially those with hypersensitive skin. It offers gentle pressure relief for optimal comfort and uses low-air-loss technology to control skin moisture, reducing the risk of damage. The mattress provides effective skin ventilation and soft pressure redistribution to protect against injuries common in nursing homes. 

This mattress system has a dimension of 79" length and 3 available width 36",42" or 48" with 8" depth with an additional 2" foam layer for extra support, and can carry up to 926 lbs capacity. The operating cycle can be set to 10, 15, 20, or 25 minutes for customized pressure relief. Available in 4-Way Stretch PU Cover or Quilted Cover.

A powerful blower inflates the mattress in under 2 minutes while managing heat and moisture. A foam pad underneath the air cells adds cushioning, provides pressure relief, and prevents bottoming out.

Serene Air 5-Therapy Modes

• Max Firm Mode: Provides maximum firmness for short periods. Assists in patient positioning, transferring, or performing medical examinations. Ensures stability and safety during activities like rehabilitation or patient movement.

• Alternating Pressure Mode: Redistributes pressure by inflating and deflating air cells alternately. Ideal for preventing and managing pressure injuries by relieving sustained pressure on vulnerable areas like bony prominences.

• Static Mode: Maintains a steady and evenly distributed air pressure across the mattress. Provides consistent support for patients who cannot tolerate movement caused by alternating pressure, enhancing comfort during rest or sleep.

• Seat Inflation Mode: Offers targeted pressure redistribution for seated patients by inflating specific areas of the mattress. Useful for patients who spend prolonged periods sitting, such as in a reclined or upright position, reducing pressure on the sacral area to prevent pressure injuries.

If a defect occurs during the warranty period due to manufacturing issues, Wellell will provide replacement parts at no cost. Some manufacturers offer longer warranties, while others have shorter terms for certain items like batteries. Please note that wear and tear items and consumables are not covered by the warranty.

Order Processing 

Once your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation email confirming that we have received and begun processing your order.

Stock availability is confirmed after purchase:

• In stock: Your order will be prepared and shipped.

• Out of stock/backorder: We will contact you with available options, which may include an estimated restock date, an alternative product, or a refund if you choose not to proceed.

You will receive email updates throughout the process, including tracking details once your order ships.

Cancellations within 24 hours may be approved at our discretion only if the order has not been placed/paid with the supplier or shipped.

Returns

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for most products. All approved refunds are subject to a 25% restocking fee, and all shipping and any white-glove delivery costs are non-refundable.

After 7 days, and up to 14 days from delivery, eligible orders may be exchanged only, subject to the same condition requirements.

Certain products, including pre-orders, backorders, custom items, and select brands, are final sale and not eligible for return, refund, or exchange. After 14 days from delivery, all sales are final.

Condition of Returns

Returned items must be unused, in their original packaging, and include all accessories, components, and documentation. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility and are non-refundable.

Pre-Orders & Backorders

Pre-orders and backorders are paid in full at the time of purchase to secure inventory that is specifically allocated to your order.

Once placed, we immediately commit funds with our suppliers and reserve inventory. For this reason, pre-orders and backorders cannot be cancelled and are non-refundable once confirmed.

Estimated shipping timelines are provided in good faith. Delays may occur due to factors outside our control, including manufacturing schedules, supplier availability, or freight and logistics issues.

If an exception is approved at our sole discretion, a cancellation and restocking fee will apply and will be deducted from any approved refund.

Defective or Damaged Items

If an item arrives defective or damaged, the manufacturer will offer a replacement at no cost. Issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

A replacement requires the defective item to be returned before a new unit is shipped. A prepaid return label will be provided for approved claims.

If you decline a replacement and request a return instead, the request will be handled under the standard return policy, including a 25% restocking fee and non-refundable shipping costs.

Damage not reported within 24 hours may not be eligible for a claim.

Missed Deliveries & Refused Shipments

Large or freight items are delivered to the address provided at checkout and are typically not returned to sender. Tracking details will be provided.

If an order is refused at delivery or returned to the sender, a 25% restocking fee will apply, and you are responsible for all outbound and return shipping costs.

Warranty

We can provide proof of purchase and assist with documentation; however, warranty claims are handled directly by the manufacturer.

After the return period, repair or replacement decisions are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty terms and may require return of the defective item.
