I've had my Zinger chair for almost 2 years now and don't know how I could manage without it. It gives me freedom and independence that makes me feel alive and well. Everyone that sees me using it asks about it and makes comments about how they know someone that could use one just like it. It takes a little while to get used to controlling the chair with the levers, but once you do, you'll want to use it everywhere. I absolutely love it.

For a recent 84 y.o.high hip amputee this little jewell has significantly improved my previously very restricted mobility choices. At its 27lbs weight I can easily lift it into my Toyota Sienna and park it behind the driver seat. It folds and unfolds easily and allows me access to any hard surface venue. It handles uphill drives to my mail box easily and it handles tight spaces with aplomb. Its design is elegant yet sturdy. Expensive but worth it!

I love being mobile. I am able to go places, like street fairs and shopping. I have not been able to do for years, because of arthritis in my back

I can now go to Walmart and not worry if I'll get a electric scooter or not. I don't come home with my hips and lower back hurting so bad I'm almost in tears.

I've been using the EW-M45 for 2 weeks.

Set up was pretty easy.

I discovered I needed "driver's ed" for joystick controls! Lol! I'm still using "turtle" mode until I get more used to it. It does not stop on a dime. There can be a delay of 12-18 inches to stop, depending on the speed you're going. The backup beep is annoying, but probably appropriate. The light is just enough to see the ground in front of you.

I'm very happy with the overall size. I'm a big girl and was concerned that I might be uncomfortable in a 19.5" seat, but this width is still appropriate for my hips.

I also like the weight of the chair, ease of folding, unfolding, & ease of getting it into the vehicle. I was looking for a lift to get it into our vehicle and decided on dual ramps instead. However, my husband doesn't bother to use them. He prefers to pick it up and put it in on his own.

I need my cane to get in and out of the chair and haven't figured out a convenient way to carry the cane with me while I'm in the chair (other than carrying it on my lap). The chair is not really "friendly" for add on accessories (cup holder, etc.) EXCEPT something that would hand from the back of the seat. I don't like having to reach around the back for my stuff, but I'm willing to live with that.

I've found it maneuvers best on hard surfaces, but also works well on packed gravel & smooth lawns. The tread of the tires will pick up little stones that need to be removed before moving indoors to a hardwood floor.

There is a simple pocket (12"x12") sewn to the back of the backrest with a reflective slow vehicle triangle on printed on it. That's a plus. I'm keeping the charger & manual in that pocket. There's not much room there for anything else.

I like the free wheel option for tight spaces & it lets me effectively use it like a rollator if needed.

The charge lasts plenty long for me! I think 15 miles per charge will be perfect for a day at the zoo or museum. 6 to 8-hour charge time makes it available again after a night's sleep.

Know what you need before you choose a chair, or you may find yourself disappointed. Be prepared to take some time learning to use it in your circumstances. I'm very happy with my choice of the EW-M45 and First-Class Mobility made the ordering & shipping easy.

We are so very excited to get our Journey Air in! It fits wonderfully in the trunk of our Toyota YARIS! And is so portable! It went up the ramp GREAT! And has a great brake Mechanism too! We ordered this to get my grandma in and out of the casino! It will be great for that with how well it’s handling the ramp at home! We also love how the battery comes off easily for charging, without having to bring the whole chair in! Very pleased with our purchase!

Anyone sitting on the fence in weather to pull the plug to buy one- DO IT!! Best thing ever! It can’t be any easier. It comes out together, you open it up & go. I get stopped all the time , people saying - they need one! I tell them to do it. Those are the ones pushing the seat chair walkers. I am able to go for the long haul now. The Mall, The Zoo, The Casino!! Don’t sit around- GET OUT!
